How do I choose the best size for my little one? 

We offer the following sizes: 0-6 months // 6-12 months // 12-24 months // 2-3T // 4T // 5T // 6T // 7T.

Our sweaters are an oversized fit so we recommend ordering true to size for the perfect cozy look. Some people like to size down for a more fitted look, or size up for longer wear - totally personal preference!

All of our core collection includes a size chart graphic. Measurements can be a few cms off due to the manufacturing process, but we do our absolute best to ensure it's as accurate as possible. 

 

How do the adult sweaters fit?

The adult sweaters run true to size with an oversized fit. We recommend ordering your usual size.

 

What is your turnaround time?

Our current turnaround time is 2-6 weeks (not including shipping time). We aim to get the sweaters embroidered soon after the order is placed, however order volume and life with 2 young kids can create delays. We promise to keep you posted if anything changes.

Orders placed during a sale may be subject to a longer turnaround time, typically up to 6 weeks. Please review fine print for details.

Do you offer free local pickup?

Yes, we do! We are located in Ottawa in the Barrhaven West area. Select “Local Pickup” at checkout for this option.

 

Where do you ship?

We currently offer shipping in Canada and to the US. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. US clients are responsible for paying any duties that may apply.

How do we wash a Bubbalette sweater?

Due to the delicate nature of the embroidery, we recommend hand washing with a gentle detergent and laying flat to dry. To reduce wash frequency, layer a tee underneath your sweater.

What if we need more than 8 letters embroidered?

We’re all about a chunky name moment, with yarns to match. Due to the size of the yarn, we are able to offer a maximum of 8 letters on a kids sweater. If your littles’ name is 9 letters or more, or if you’d like multiple words, send us an email at info@bubbalette.com to inquire.

 

How to Dispose of Bubbalette Mailers
We use biodegradable mailer bags to send out our packages. They are both 100% biodegradable and recyclable. The best way to dispose of our mailers is to take them to a local recycling center and recycle them under "flexible packaging" or "soft plastics". You can use the following website to find a location near you. Simply enter your zip code and "plastic bags" in the search bars. https://search.earth911.com/
Please note that our mailers are not curb-side recyclable. Disposing of them in the regular recycling bin may cause contamination or damage to the recycling equipment.
Biodegradable: Our mailers are made by adding an agent called D2W into the raw material batch which is used to make regular plastic mailers. This helps break down the bag's material into CO2, water, and biomass to be consumed by bacteria & fungi in the environment (around 24 months at the end of their useful life).
Recyclable: In addition to being biodegradable, our mailer bags are also recyclable. This means you can take them to your local recycling center or grocery store to be processed.
